The Edmonton Eskimos are coming off a bye week into what is nearly a must-win situation for the football club. It won’t be easy if the Eskimos are planning on stopping their 1-6 skid because they will have to do it against one of the CFL’s best in the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Kickoff is Saturday at 5 p.m. at Commonwealth Stadium.

Quarterback Ricky Ray injured his sternum in his last game, a 56-15 loss against the Calgary Stampeders, but the slinger says he’s ready to play this weekend. No word from the coaching staff on whether Ray will start or if pivot Jared Zabransky will get his first start of the season.
