It starts for real tomorrow. The Edmonton Oilers begin their climb out of the basement Thursday evening against perrenial provincial rivals, the Calgary Flames.

The Flames beat the Oilers twice during pre-season action, once at Rexall Place and once in Cowtown, but with three young stars in their lineup and a new captain (yet to be named) at the helm, the Oilers are hoping regular-season results will be much better.

Tickets for the season opener are sold out, but there are still seats available for upcoming home games.
