The journey of musician Leslie Feist and the production of her Grammy-nominated album The Reminder is the focus of a documentary film that premieres tonight in Vancouver. Look At What The Light Did Now, directed by Anthony Seck, looks behind the scenes at Feist and her relationships with her supporting cast through concert performances and interviews. It is presented by the Vancouver International Film Festival as part of the Push international performing arts festival. The film screens for one night only at the Vancity Theatre (1181 Seymour St.) Tickets are $11 at viff.org. Because the event is at the Vancity Theatre, viewers must also purchase a $2 membership.
