If you didn’t get on board any of the warships in town for the International Fleet Review earlier this month, HMCS Athabaskan will be open to the public Saturday through Monday.

The ship will be berthed at Pier 19, the Tall Ships Quay, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
This destroyer, with its motto “We Fight As One,” responded when the earthquake hit Haiti in January.

It has a crew of 300 sailors and carries a Sea King helicopter on board. If you want to board the ship, you must have photo ID. Also, backpacks, large bags, and strollers are not allowed.
