A local AIDS support group is voicing its concern through theatre — and pulling Vancouverites on stage to help the cause.
The Youth Community Outreach AIDS Society is hosting Groundswell, an evening of audience interactive performances today in honour of World AIDS Day.
YouthCO’s forum theatre troupe is set to act out a series of plays that engage audience participation once the story reaches the point of conflict. The evening will also showcase local youth-made art.
The event starts at 7 p.m. at W2 Storyeum on 151 West Cordova St. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and admission is by donation.
