A new Halifax-based theatre company is presenting William Shakespeare’s Hamlet starting tonight at the Bus Stop Theatre. Perchance Productions describes itself as a group of local artists who came to put out a “full-scale community production” of this popular Shakespeare tragedy. The play stars Halifax actor Gregory Slack in the role of Hamlet, with Nancy Marshall the show’s director. Performances will be held through Oct. 24, with evening performances Wednesday through Saturday at 8 and weekend matinees at 2 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults and $20 for students and seniors.
