It’s never easy being homeless. That’s why Hope Mission will be providing some needed relief when it hosts its annual Hope Street BBQ Saturday.

The barbecue is open to the public from 3 to 5 p.m. and all the food and fixings are free.

The Hope Street Summer BBQ has been around for a number of years. The goal is to increase public awareness of Hope Mission programs and to help feed the hungry.

The barbecue will be held in front of the Herb Jamieson Centre on 105 A Avenue and 100 Street.

Live music will entertain the crowds as they dig into some hotdogs and hamburgers.
