The Freewill Shakespeare Festival, currently taking place at the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park, isn’t only about the performances.

Sure Shakespeare fans will be treated to performances of Much ado about Nothing and Macbeth, but there’s a lot more happening during the Shakespeare in the Park festival.

At noon on Sunday, festivalgoers will have the opportunity to have brunch with artistic director Marianne Copithorne, followed by a matinee performance. Tickets are $50.

The festival’s fundraising gala goes 6 p.m. on July 24, followed by the final performance of Macbeth. Tickets are $75.
