Sock N Buskin Theatre Company opens its 67th season with Nobel Prize-winning playwright Luigi Pirandello’s Six Characters In Search Of An Author with a preview today.
The show runs tomorrow through Saturday and from Nov. 25-27 at Carleton University’s Kailash Theatre.
The Italian play, which is Pirandello’s most famous, was first performed in Rome in 1921, and continues to explore the nature of human personality and blur the lines between reality and illusion in an unusual way. Six characters abandoned by their author are desperately looking for someone to complete their story.
