Metro Minute with Taste of Yaletown

The time is here for all you foodies to dine out for a cause at the Taste of Yaletown at 25 restaurants until Oct. 31. Why not dress up and try fancy restaurants on the cheap? Grilled Canadian prime tenderloin, green papaya salad, and five-mushroom risotto are a few of the treats on restaurants’ menus. A three-course meal costs $25, $35, or $45, depending on the place. Part of the profits will go to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank. As a bonus, the Yaletown BIA gave all participating restaurants taxi vouchers, which they can hand out to guests who have enjoyed some wine or cocktails along with their meals.
