The Fantasticks — which is playing at the Vancouver Playhouse Theatre — debuted in 1960 and features music by Harvey Schmidt and Tom Jones. It tells the story of two fathers who trick their children into falling in love by building a wall between their homes to keep them apart.
Bard on the Beach’s artistic director, Christopher Gaze, is part of the cast.
