Mirko Zardini, director and chief curator of the Canadian Centre for Architecture, will continue the 2010-2011 Forum Lecture Series with a presentation tonight.

His lecture — part of the series by Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism — is entitled Is it True? Critical Space, Urgent Matters, and will take place at the National Gallery of Canada.

The popular series brings several national and international architects to Ottawa to educate students, faculty and the general public about the profession and the impact that architecture has on design. Past speakers include Moshe Safdie, Arthur Erickson and Daniel Libeskind.

The lecture begins at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
