Metro Minute with The Story of a Girl

Hip new downtown club Five Sixty, 560 Seymour St., is holding an art/fashion show tonight in honour of all things girly. The celebration, themed “The Story of a Girl,” is presented by local design shop Blushing Boutique for the lovely and fashionable ladies of Vancouver. The multi-sensory experience features paintings by Monika Blichar, and clothing, jewelry, and fragrances by 14 Canadian designers, including Shelley Klassen, Malene Grotrian, Bridget Bergman, De Almeida, Bionic, and Dish Denim. Catch Blichar body painting two models on the spot, to the tune of musicians Jazz, Baby. The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20.
