If you have a minute to spare this weekend, check out the “little tree” installation in Olympic Plaza.

Fifty alpine air-freshener shaped trees are located at the northeast end of the plaza in celebration of Calgary Parks 100th anniversary.

The installation, on loan from Jardins de Metis and the International Garden Festival, allows Calgarians to move the trees and “plant” them where they want.

In addition to the trees, Calgary Parks has installed pink gophers near the southwest end of Olympic Plaza as well. Both installations are free and open to the public seven days a week.
