A team of three custom-built electric vehicles left Geneva Aug. 16, and now is coming to Vancouver.
The sleek, colourful cavalcade just rolled off a boat from Shanghai, and will be in the public plaza at the Olympic Village Friday between 9 and 11 a.m.
The cars are travelling around the world in the Zero Emissions Race, billed as the world’s longest green event.
Currently, the Swiss team is leading in the race’s criteria of reliability, design and energy efficiency.
Ogle the specially designed cars and meet the teams before they take off again on their way to Cancun for the World Climate Change Conference in December.
