Metro's 7th Heaven: November 5 - 7

Metro's favourite things moments this week. <br />

Audrey Hepburn
It’s been 17 years since she died, but Audrey Hepburn’s influence can still be seen today — just look at Carey Mulligan. Fans of the Funny Girl star will revel in Audrey 100, a coffee table book featuring rare portraits of the actress selected by her family. The collection also comes with a ready-to-frame photo of the star.

Scott Pilgrim
It’s time to level-up. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World gets its small-screen release this week on Blu-ray and DVD. The film, shot in Toronto, features Canuck actor Michael Cera battling his new girlfriend’s past lovers. Will Pilgrim get to keep his pixie dream girl? Rent or buy to find out.

BudTrap

Available in colourful hues and featuring a simple-to-use design, BudTraps makes it possible to stash your earphones without fear of spending five minutes untangling them. budtrap.com.

Ellie Goulding
She isn’t a household name yet, but there is a good chance you will be hearing a lot about Ellie Goulding in the next year. The winner of the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and the critics choice award at the 2010 Brit Awards, an EP of Goulding’s songs will cross the pond next year.

The Goonies
It’s hard to believe, but it’s been 25 years since Lawrence "Chunk" Cohen and "Sloth" Fratelli entered out lives. The action-adventure movie — which featured a who’s who of teen stars — is celebrating the milestone with a special box set, featuring The Goonies, as well as an exclusive board game, souvenir magazine and “where are they now” update.

Shannon Doherty, Badass
In the ’90s, Shannon Doherty was infamously known as a Hollywood bad girl, getting into fights about guys and well-publicized tiffs with her 90210 costars. Now the former star of Charmed has released Badass: A Hard-Earned Guide to Living Life Without Style and (the Right) Attitude.

Decoded
Music mogul and Beyonce-loving Jay-Z can now add author to his list of achievements. The musician and producer has released the book Decoded, in which Hova decodes the lyrics of songs and locates their meanings in pop culture and world events.
