A 17-year-old student was arrested at his home and charged after a classmate was stabbed in the hallway of T.L. Kennedy Secondary School in Mississauga yesterday.

The youth has been charged with aggravated assault, breach of probation and breach of recognizance. He can’t be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

The arrest came after another 17-year-old male student was admitted to hospital with a stab wound to his shoulder, according to witnesses.

The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
