Abbamania and Night Fever

Break out your platform shoes and get ready to dance the night away to some of your favourite disco tunes in this show that should be one to remember. Tickets are $25 each and available through Ticket Atlantic.

Halifax Mooseheads

When: Saturday, 7 p.m.
Where: Halifax Metro Centre
It will be Maritime Division battle as the Bathurst Titan’s come into town to face Bobby Smith’s Mooseheads. These teams faced on Wednesday in Bathurst with Halifax winning 5-0. Adult tickets are $15.75.

Handel’s Messiah

When: Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Where: Rebecca Cohn Auditorium
This moving, electrifying masterpiece is a highlight of the Christmas season for fans of Symphony Nova Scotia. This year, the symphony is performing the great work with conductor Noel Edison. Tickets range in price between $15 and $52.

All I Want For Christmas Is You

When: Through Dec. 19
Where: Alderney Landing Theatre
Presented by Halifax’s Lonely Hearts Club, this is event is designed to help singles find love during one of the loneliest times of the year. Tickets are $43, plus tax. Phone 461-8401 for more information.

Barra MacNeils Christmas Concert

When: Sunday, 4 and 8 p.m.
Where: Rebecca Cohn Auditorium
This popular Cape Breton group will be singing plenty of Christmas favourites to help get you in the mood for the holidays. Tickets are still available for both shows at $38 each and can be purchased through the Dalhousie University Arts Centre box office.
