Halifax Greek Fest

Cirque Estival
When: Friday, 7 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Where: Halifax Forum
The circus is coming to town, with this Quebec-based group touring the region. The show features gymnasts, animals, clowns and a lot more. Tickets are $24 for adults and $18 for kids aged two to 13.

Monster Jam

When: Saturday, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m.
Where: Scotia Speedworld
This monster-truck show returns for another years with some of the biggest names in the sport coming to town. Tickets are $23.50 for adults, $18.50 for kids 12-to-two, with children two-and-under free. Tickets available at Ticket Atlantic.

Halifax Walk for Muscular Dystrophy
When: Saturday, 1 p.m.
Where: Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
This local walk supports families affected by muscular dystrophy. The day also includes a BBQ, live music, and prizes. Registration begins at noon with the walk to follow. For complete details, visit www.muscle.ca/walk.
