Canadian Naval Centennial: International Fleet Review

Halifax will be the gateway to the world as Canada‚s Navy hosts an International Fleet Review as part of its Centennial celebrations. As warships from various nations arrive, they will have on board more than 5,000 sailors. Many ships will be open to the public.

Membertou 400 is a celebration of the life and legacy of Grand Chief Membertou and the culture and contributions of the Mi'kmaq people. The event will feature an authentic Mi'kmaq village where visitors can interact with aboriginal artists and artisans, learn about tradition healing methods and sample native cuisine.
