SPOOKY SEAS AT THE VANCOUVER AQUARIUM

Where: Vancouver Aquarium, Stanley Park
The Aquarium’s Halloween exhibits kick off on Saturday with the 4D film Curse Of Skull Rock, haunted galleries with true tales of shipwrecks off the B.C. coasts, and the Skulls, Teeth And Creeps Of The Deep exhibit, complete with the jaw of a great white shark.
JOE FRESH STREET CONCERT
When: Saturday, 2-6 p.m.
Where: Granville Street between Dunsmuir and Pender
Joe Fresh, the Superstore clothing brand, just opened its first stand-alone store at 540 Granville St. On Saturday, its holding a free street party with performances by Divine Brown, Sweet Thing, Stereos, and Marianas Trench.
TASTE OF YALETOWN
When: Daily until Oct. 31
Where: Various Yaletown restaurants
The annual Taste Of Yaletown event allows diners to try some of the neighbourhood’s best restaurants through set three-course menus at $25, $35 or $45. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
