The Halifax Mooseheads are hosting the Saint John Sea Dogs in what is titled Pink in the Rink to support breast cancer research.

Live Art Dance

Where: Meinertzhagen Theatre, Halifax Grammar School
Old Thomas and the Little Fairy takes an optimistic look at the cycles of life, and introduces children to two charming characters who take care of each other, bringing out the best in the other.

Atlantic football
When: Friday, 7 p.m.
Where: Huskies Stadium
It doesn’t get much bigger than this. First place is on the line as the Saint Mary’s Huskies host the St. Francis Xavier X-Men in a battle of 5-1 teams.

Just for Laughs
When: Sat., 7 and 9:30 p.m.
Where: Rebecca Cohn Auditorium
It should be non-stop laughs as an all-star lineup of comics will be in Halifax for the shows including Danny Bhoy, Pete Correale, Godfrey and Steve Patterson. Tickets are $39.50.

Horror Night Trivia

When: Friday, 8 p.m.
Where: The Frigate
Presented by Grim Undertakings, this event features three rounds of trivia with all proceeds going to benefit the United Way of Halifax Region. There is a suggested $4 donation at the door.
