Cat Show

Household pets will be put through the ropes in the battle for top cat during this two-day contest. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under and seniors. Ogden Legion, 2625 78 Avenue S.E. Show Times: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Ghost Tour
Calgary Ghost Tours 2010, Oct. 2-Oct. 31, Kensington, Downtown, Inglewood
Visit some of Calgary’s spooky sites during an evenly of ghostly entertainment. Tours meet in front of the Kensington Pub, from the base of the Calgary tour and in Inglewood, the parking lot at 12th Street and 9th Ave. S.E.

ScreamFest
ScreamFest ‘10, Oct. 29-31, Canada Olympic Park
Prepare to be scared at ScreamFest happening all weekend from 7 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $20. Canada Olympic Park, 88 Canada Olympic Road S.W.

Fright Night
Ghouls Night Out, Oct. 27- Oct. 30, Heritage?Park
Take the little ghouls out for a night of frightening fun at Heritage Park this weekend between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Kids 13 and over are $10, ages three to 12 are $6, and those under two are free. Heritage Park, 1900 Heritage Dr. S.W.

Dance Party
A “PRE-HALLOWEEN”?Masquerade Dance Party, Oct. 29, Fourth and 4th Restaurant
Come down and dance and don’t forget to bring mask. The party starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $10 for those in costume and $15 for people not in Halloween attire. Fourth and 4th Restaurant 503 4th Ave S.W

Theatre
The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Oct. 29- Oct. 31, The Plaza Theatre
All weekend long, a special edition of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with audience participation will be playing. Tickets are $12 and prop kits are $10. Friday and Saturday the show starts at midnight and on Sunday it kicks off at 9:30 p.m. The Plaza Theatre, 1133 Kensington Rd. N.W.
