The Nova Scotia man convicted of molesting two boys in the 1970s will appear in a Halifax courtroom this morning.

Ernest Fenwick MacIntosh, 67, is appealing his conviction and will ask today for bail at the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.

He was found guilty last month on 13 charges of indecent assault and gross indecency.

Defence lawyer Brian Casey filed the appeal on July 30. In his submission, he wrote victims said they were abused in MacIntosh’s vehicles before 1974, but records show the vehicles were purchased after that date.
