A Bridgewater mom will spend the next 18 months on probation for taking her baby daughter outside exposed to the cold.
Kerri Jean King, 26, was sentenced Wednesday in Bridgewater provincial court.
On Dec. 27, 2008, she brought her nine-month-old outside in just pajamas, without a hat, mittens or socks, leading the child to get frostbite and hypothermia.
It was -9 C at the time.
The baby wasn’t permanently hurt.
King apologized to the court and the judge believed she was sorry.
