Scouts have plenty of reasons to stop at the Metro Centre to check out the Halifax Mooseheads this season.
The Mooseheads, who were a dud in the NHL draft-eligible prospects department last season, boast a handful of players who scouts will be keeping an eye on.
Rookie defenceman Konrad Abeltshauser of Germany highlights the 2009 draft class, while the likes of goaltender Mathieu Corbeil, forward Carl Gelinas and blueliner Steve Gillard could make themselves relevant with strong years.The most exciting prospects aren’t eligible until 2011.
