The Halifax Mooseheads have recalled defenceman Jamie Bishop for a three-game road trip to Quebec.
The Mooseheads needed reinforcement on the blue -line after injuries to rookies Konrad Abeltshauser (broken wrist) and Steve Gillard (hip flexor). Bishop was selected 19th overall in June’s QMJHL draft but was unable to crack the roster.
The Mooseheads take their last-place 1-10-1 record into the road trip. They visit the Quebec Remparts (7-2-3) tonight at 8 p.m. before heading to Chicoutimi tomorrow for an 8:30 p.m. tilt with the Sagueneens (5-4-3) and Baie-Comeau on Sunday for a 5 p.m. contest with the Drakkar (3-8-1).
