An activist shareholder pushing for major changes at RIM says he’s encouraged that Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. and its founder Prem Watsa have doubled their stake in the BlackBerry maker since it installed a new chief executive officer last weekend.
Domtar Corp. (TSX:UFS). Pulp and paper. Up 14 cents, or 0.16 per cent, at $87.81 on 13,372 shares. The maker of uncoated freesheet and pulp is buying European-based Attends Healthcare Ltd. from Rutland Partners for $236.4 million after having acquired Attends North America last summer for US$315 million as the company moves to diversify its revenue base.
