More than 700 mourners packed a north-end Toronto church Wednesday to say goodbye to a popular high school teacher.

The body of 44-year-old Consuelo Valencia-Russo was found last Thursday in the trunk of a car.

Police are searching for her alleged killers in Mexico City — Juan Antonio Reyes, 23, and Ana Laura Rodrigues, 19.

The Mexican natives had rented a room from Valencia-Russo’s former husband, who is not a suspect.

A priest said Valencia-Russo touched the lives of many young people during more than eight years of teaching French for the Toronto Catholic District School Board.

Dozens of high school students who had been taught by Valencia-Russo, who was known as Connie, attended the hour-long service.
