Director David Lickley creates a series of remarkably immersive images of exotic animals and locations that are impossible not to be hypnotized by on the overwhelmingly massive IMAX canvas. The focus is on Dr. Birute Galdikas and Dr. Daphne Sheldrick, who rescue and raise orphaned orangutans in the rainforests of Borneo, and elephants in the Kenyan savannah respectively. It’s lightweight, but inspiring subject matter told through extraordinary larger-than-life images.
