The film explores a clash of cultures in a small Quebec village that thrives on its language school to keep the community afloat.

If that sounds like a pitch for a new CBC-funded sitcom, it’s not far off.

In fact, it may have worked as such. But as a film, this attempt to capitalize on the language divide using a bundle of Canadian celebs is half-baked.
