Jason Wayne MacRae is trying for bail.
The 37-year-old Timberlea man is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife Paula Gallant, who was found in the trunk of her car — parked outside the Timberlea elementary school where she taught — in December 2005.
MacRae’s defence team made the application for bail last week.
