Brittany Murphy was making plans to have children the night before she died, femalefirst.co.uk reports.

The actress — who passed away at age 32 on Dec. 20 — had been discussing starting a family with husband Simon Monjack and the pair even chose names and spoke about moving to New York to raise their kids.

Simon said: “She knew her career wasn’t in the best place. She was ready to kind of be a mother and that was what a lot of the talk was about.

“We were discussing children the night before she passed. We were discussing baby names. A boy would have been Oliver and a girl would have been Sophie. That was the plan, to move to New York and to start a family.”

The British screenwriter has again blasted speculation the actress was on drugs, insisting he would have been “very worried" if she had consumed illegal substances because she had such a colourful personality.
