Hundreds of teens across Canada and the United States are walking a mile in the shoes of the homeless.
For four days, teens are taking part in Democrew, a program of activities and workshops to better understand issues facing the less fortunate.
Tuesday, students got to experience what it's like to depend on picking bottles as their only source of income. Students will also be handing out food and personal hygiene items to the homeless and they will be serving a free dinner as part of the experience.
