There will be dunks by the docks as the NBA starts its first nationwide tour across Canada on the Halifax waterfront this summer. The Halifax leg of the tour, which runs from Aug. 21 to 22, will include a visit from an NBA player and a Harlem Globetrotter, photo opportunities with the Larry O’Brien Trophy, and a 3-on-3 tournament.

Players can register for that tournament at www.nba.com/jamsession on Friday. The name of the visiting player will be announced later this week.
