Calgarians want their say when it comes to
how the city regulates the taxi industry.
“The service in Calgary needs to
be revisited because we’re not getting what we believe we need,” said Tom
Merick of Voters for Taxis, a new citizen’s group that is going
online to come up with ways to fine tune an industry which has seen little
change in the last 20 years.
Go online to votersfortaxis.ca to take the
survey. The group is taking their findings to council later this week and
ultimately the decision will be theirs to make when the taxi bylaw review is
complete.
