Vancouver has crowned its newest Next Gay Top Model at a grand finale show at Celebrities Night Club.
Calan Breckon, 22, took home the title after a three-month competition of challenges, charity work and public presentations.
The title comes with more than just bragging rights, with Breckon scoring a two-year modelling contract from I Model Management, photoshoots with photographer Nicholas Jang and a cover shot in Outlooks Magazine.
He also gets a flight for two to London, England courtesy of British Airways, a weekend getaway to Whistler courtesy gaywhistler.com, and a host of other goodies.
The race was so close that the second-place finisher will also be signed by the modelling agency.
The event raised more than $1,500 for local AIDS charity Friends for Life.
