Re: “School official runs for Liberals as protest,” Aug. 22:

The Ontario School Board’s Association’s Rick Johnson believes that funding religious school with public money is wrong.

Catholic schools receive public cash, but no other religious denomination is deemed worthy.

If my taxes pay for general public schools and Catholic schools, it should be paying for Jewish and Muslim schools too.

Any accredited school that meets provincial education guidelines should receive funding.

Anything else is systemic discrimination.
