Homicide Detective Bill Clark told Metro yesterday that despite receiving some tips from the public, no suspect has been identified as police still continue their investigation.
"No suspects and no arrests," said Clark.
Beverly Parker, a 49-year-old mother, was found dead lying face-down in the snow in the front yard of her fourplex unit at 1828 Lakewood Rd. S. in Mill Woods, police said.
Police say Parker showed no signs of life when emergency crews arrived on scene after a 9-1-1 call from a family member.
However, Parker wasn’t pronounced dead until she arrived at hospital, police said.
An autopsy Friday indicated that Parker was strangled to death making her Edmonton’s fifth homicide victim of the year.
