The Pacific National Exhibition is looking to fill 1,500 jobs for its annual two-week fair – everything from lottery sales, to nighttime sweepers to behind-the-scene clerks.
“We like to think we have a job for everyone, regardless of age or work experience,” said Jeff Strickland, vice-president of human resources for the PNE.
“The popular jobs are the ones people can visualize like the lottery vendors, the rides attendants and the games attendants and sweepers.”
Strickland said the annual summer fair is looking to fill positions in more than 40 categories. A full list is available online at pne.ca.
Wages range from $9.66 to $15.30 per hour and the deadline for applications is June 20.
“This year we are receiving quite a few more applications than in year’s past, but nothing Earth shattering.”
