In a bizarre move against the Westboro Baptist Church, punk band Get Shot! filmed a short porno on the lawn of the church in Topeka, Kan. on Oct. 2. Laura Lush, the band’s female, bisexual bassist, masturbated on the lawn stark naked as her bandmates filmed her. The Sacramento-based band stopped by Topeka on the way to Denver and decided to pay a visit to the notorious, press-hungry church.

The band bragged about their stunt on Facebook. “The Phelps family and Westboro Baptist Church are ridiculous and do nothing except spread hate and cause controversy,” said Laura Lush on Facebook. “As a bisexual woman and the bass player of a ridiculous punk band, I wanted to spread my legs and cause controversy.”

The band added that they were able to avoid arrest in spite of the security cameras on Westboro’s property and Kansas’ obscenity laws. “There was a lot of traffic and we saw a few cops at a coffee shop a few blocks away,” posted J.P. Hunter, a member of the band. “We barely had enough gas money and cocaine to make it to Denver for our next concert. Since we can’t afford bail, we had to cut it a little short before the cops got called. If someone will bail us out, we will bring a group of girls and a whole camera crew when we come back in a few months.”

Get Shot! posted the uncensored video on their NSFW porn website, GetShotGirls.com.

Steve Drain, a member of Westboro Baptist Church, responded to the act. “I’m really surprised it doesn’t happen more often, considering how wicked this generation is,” he told Metro. “We strive to keep the commandments of God and that’s what bothers people. Unless you obey the standards of God, you’re going to spend eternity in hell. If we were just like any other phony church lying about the scripture, we wouldn’t attract that attention. We’re reminding people there is a God, there is a heaven, there is a hell and there are eternal consequences for your actions. Otherwise, there was no reason that woman would have come and done these filthy things on our lawn.”
