The Runway: A trip to Versailles with her mom and daughter provided the spark for Stacey Bendet’s playfully opulent collection, which she showed at the sparkling Pierre Hotel in the Upper East Side. The diverse array of looks included lavishly sequined jackets worn with striped culottes or leggings; languid ’70s dresses with handkerchief hems; and colorful, painterly prints done by the designer’s friend Lola Schnabel.
