Oasis star Noel Gallagher says the band is ready to start work on a new album, Ananova.com reports.
The Mancunian heroes are teaming up with producer Dave Sardy to discuss their seventh CD. Sardy, who has recently worked on albums by Aussie rockers Jet and Wolfmother and the soundtracks to Casino Royale and Spider-Man 3, worked on Oasis’ sixth effort, Don’t Believe The Truth. Noel says the boys are ready to rock again — although he wasn’t too confident on the release date. “We start talking about the new album (this weekend),” he told the Daily Star. “I’ve got 17 songs ready, everybody else has got three or four. F*** knows when it’ll be out — 2010. Don’t hold your breath.”
