Transit riders still hoping for a refund on their December passes have until Friday to get them in the mail.
OC Transpo will only issue refund cheques for passes that are postmarked before Feb. 28. Passes should be mailed to the OC Transpo Finance Department, 1500 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa ON, K1G 0Z8.
The deadline for refunds at the kiosks was Feb. 21.
Normal fares will resume Sunday. Customers will notice that new, larger, bright pink bus tickets are in circulation, but the price is unchanged at $1 each.
Transit users who did not get a refund on their December bus passes can use them to get a 60 per cent discount on their March passes.
Overall, OC Transpo is running three weeks ahead of schedule and it is now anticipating that it will have all peak-period routes back to full service by March 16, although some will make fewer trips than normally scheduled since bus availability is at 90 per cent.
