I am a pregnant woman who finds public transportation difficult for me for the simple reason that no one wants to offer you a seat.


I realize that everyone has paid the same fare as me and everyone is entitled to sit, but in the reality of living in Toronto there are never enough seats to go around. It would be nice that when someone notices my protuding belly, that they actually offer me a seat. I often do see that people notice I’m pregnant but then they put their heads down.


I would offer my seat to anyone who obviously needs it. It would be nice to received the same kind of courtesy in return.
