Office Yoga: Chest opener

This exercise opens the chest as it strengthens the lungs. It tones thearms and chest and releases tension from the neck and shoulders.


This exercise opens the chest as it strengthens the lungs. It tones the arms and chest and releases tension from the neck and shoulders.

Step 1: Stand straight with your feet hip width apart, your hips slightly tilted forward, chest open.

Step 2: Inhale and slowly bring your hands behind you and press your shoulder blades together.

Step 3: Hold the breath as you turn your head slowly to the left and then to the right as you look over your shoulder.

Step 4: Bring your head back to centre and exhale. Lower your arms back to your side. Repeat two or three times.
