A bear cub that got stuck in a tree high above ground in Windham Mountain Village, New York, was rescued by Environmental Conservation Officer Anthony Glorioso Tuesday morning, said the Environmental Conservation office.

A video of the heroic mission shows officer Glorioso go up and attempt to free the bear cub whose neck was stuck in between two branches 65 feet above the ground. With the help of a local construction company’s boom crane, Officer Glorioso went up and cut off a section of the tree and lowered the cub to the ground using a bucket.

As the bucket came down, the cub ran back into the nearby wooded area.
