The Olympic torch made it’s way around the GTA yesterday, on its way to Vancouver for the 2010 Games.
Father and son filmmakers Ivan and Jason Reitman, Olympic rower Marnie McBean, ballet dancer Karen Kain, Olympic figure skating silver medalist Brian Orser were just some who took turns carrying the torch in the GTA yesterday.
The relay began before sunrise east of the city in Oshawa and then made its way through Whitby, Ajax, Pickering, Whitchurch-Stouffville, Markham and Thornhill.
