Ann Thomas is a first-year high school student. Her goal is to attend university and enrol in environmental studies. While hitting the books is just one way this A-student keeps busy during the week, the other is spending time singing in the Canadian Children’s Opera Chorus. This summer, Thomas is looking forward to taking a trip to British Columbia to visit family. In November, it’s bon voyage for three months of student exchange in France.
