Harini Yapa is an administrative support assistant at the North York Central Library. Her career in books began 17 years ago when she volunteered as a librarian’s page. Her years of volunteer work eventually paid off, giving her the opportunity to a full-time position in the administration end of things within the library organization. Today, her job is assisting managerial staff with the day to day operations of the book business. Motherly duties to her newly born son keep Yapa on the go the remainder of the time.
